Thank you Smile
sorry that you won't be able to help me. .. But still I think that it is a French manufacturer of watches from the first quarter of the 19 century.

K18 stands for 18 ct gold... I don't think the case is french cause no french gold hallmarks on it.

Very unexpected version on the question not of French origin...
Let's wait, maybe this issue will be resolved. I hope that these hours were interesting to the distinguished community. If you need additional photos, I will add coupe

I also think it's a French watch.
The style is typically French (or Swiss).

Hi!
A few more images, perhaps it will give a chance to a precise definition.  There is a sign, to me in the form of the head of the cock? I'm assuming that these watches were manufactured between 1805-1810 years..

Head of cock looking towards right = french gold 18K from 1809 until 1819. Might be Paris or Province but I can't tell on the picture.
However I find the hallmark on this watch not exactly looking as the ones in my hallmarks bible...
Just my 2 cents.

Super!
Now we can say with confidence that these watches are made in France up to the year 1820. Thanks for the help!

Further details were known about the manufacturer...
Geneva, watch manufacturer Vaucher Freres (active between 1780 - 1830) dating from around 1810
Reference: Osvaldo Patrizzi "Dictionnaire des Horlogers Genevois", 1998, page 394.

Hello Audrey70,
K18 for 750/1000 gold from Suède, but should be have an another hallmark with 3 crown in a hallmark or you should have K18 for Suisse you should have the hallmark 0,750 too.
The head of chicken is the gold hallmark for France from since 17 June 1798, or from 1809, but you should have 2 another hallmarks with.
Curious, the hallmarks on the box. pensif
I can't see the other hallmarks No
This type of coq is very usual during 1820, 1840, I met a lot of time, exactly this coq on the watches from France , but the coq from Suisse are very similar of the french coq.
